About Me
My name is Caroline Walls. I am 44 years of age. I am a qualified and very experienced childminder who is fully registered with SCSWIS and I am a member of SCMA also. I live at 79 Willow drive in Airdrie with my husband Dez and our two daughters Rachel who is 19 and Katie who is 12.
Rachel is at college and works in a hairdressers to gain her hairdressing qualification. Katie is about to begin her journey as a 1st year pupil in St Margarets High school.
I have been a registered and practising childminder since May 2011. My past inspections I have been graded overall 5’s which have been made up of scores of 5’s and 6’s which I am proud of and worked hard to gain. I really enjoy my job and having worked full time when Rachel was a baby I thoroughly appreciate how hard it is to find good Childcare and the emotional implications it carries with it. I care for each and every child in my home as I would expect anyone to care for my own precious children.
I satisfy every child's time spent with enjoyably safe activities according to their age and stage. I take them on outings to toddler groups, library visits, soft play areas and swing parks. I fully believe that children learn through their play and I encourage and support their learning and development by having lots of fun.
My Experience
I have my experiences through being a loving mother to my own two children and being an auntie to my many nieces and nephew. I studied at Coatbridge college were I gained an NC in Early Years and Education. I have nearly completed my SVQ at level 7 in Childhood Practice.
My Qualifications
I am up to date with many courses. I am always updating my training by attending any courses which become available for me.
My Availability
In the near future I have a full time space available and the possibility of part time spaces.

Caroline came highly recommended to us when our son was 2 and a half years old. Any worries I had about leaving my son were quickly dispelled when I saw how happy he was from the very first day he went to visit Caroline. Not only did Caroline herself ensure that his every need was catered for the whole family have gone out of their way to welcome him into their home. Caroline was a huge support when the time came for our son to attend nursery. She went above and beyond to ensure that the transition was as smooth as possible and as a result it eased our worries about the whole process. Our son absolutely loves spending time at Caroline's house. As a child minder, Caroline always goes the extra mile. She plans her daily activities to ensure the children are provided with many opportunities to engage in positive play; this takes place in the form of outdoor learning, arts and crafts, library groups or Friday treat trips to the soft play. She always listens to any concerns you might have and equally shares any she may have with you. I in turn cannot recommend her highly enough! Caroline thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for our boy.

My son absolutely adores Caroline and her family. I was recommended by a family member and I must say it has been everything I could have wished for and more in caring for my son. When going to her house all the children are so happy and busy with fun activities and my son, being an only child has enjoyed playing with other children and most days doesn't want to come home. Caroline always goes that little bit further. We were telling our son some very important information and asked Caroline to keep an eye on him. Caroline went that little further and fully supported us on the issue and offered to support Callum by speaking to him about the issue. I am planning on moving away at the end of the year and I must say my son will be crying leaving Caroline and her family and it wont just be him. I am studying childcare at the moment and I hope that I can become half of the child-minder Caroline is and have the bonds with the children I work with as she has with hers. Caroline you are a star.

I was very sceptical about leaving my 3 & 7 year old with somebody I didn't really know, I can honestly say having Caroline in our lives was the best decision I ever made, my kids absolutely adore her, she has so much time and patience with the kids she looks after, they were always busy with activities and my daughter came out of her shell and actually started speaking up and joining in, I would highly recommend Caroline to anyone looking for a childminder you will not regret it, she honestly is the best.
