Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Michelle and I live in the broom / stag area of rotherham which is close to Rotherham hospital, motor way and on a major bus route. I am married to Chris and we have 2 girls. After 18 years of qualified childcare experienced I completed all the relevant courses to become a childminder and became registered in September 2013 and follow all aspects of the EYFS. I have been inspected by Ofsted three times and gained a grading of GOOD on all occasions. I am able to take children eligible early years funding. Whilst childminding I attend many different activities which include toddler groups, soft play centres and our local parks . Overall am an approachable person who strives to encourage all children to develop to the greatest achievements, whilst still offering a warm and loving home from home environment that gives 100% quality care to every child I look after. My Experience
I have worked in nursery settings since 1999 as a qualified nursery Practitioner and I have works with variety of age groups ranging from young babies to school aged children. I became a childminder in September 2013 to offer a safe and friendly environment for children to enhance their development.

Michelle has been childminding my son (2yrs now) since September 2018. I have been extremely happy with the care provided, and the great progress he has made whilst in Michelle's care. Michelle's home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and LO has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Beyond all this though, it is Michelle's warm and friendly but no nonsense approach which sets her apart from other childminders.
She provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise, offers lunch, and keeps me up to date throughout with what he has during the day. Michelle is a great communicator and has no trouble in gaining LO confidence and therefore encouraging good behavior.
All in all I am thoroughly happy with the level of care LO receives and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping him develop into a confident and self assured little boy.
I would absolutely recommend Michelle as a great and reliable childminder.
