Hello, I’m Lea – an experienced and Ofsted-registered childminder based in Blidworth, Nottingham.
With over 19 years of experience in early years care, I offer a safe, fun, and nurturing home-from-home setting where children thrive through play, routine, and love.
Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday – 6:45am to 6:30pm
I welcome shift workers and will always do my best to be flexible with times to suit your family’s needs.

I work closely with families to provide tailored care that fits your child’s needs, personality, and routine. Many of the children in my care feel like part of the family – and their parents become trusted friends.

My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for over 19 years, caring for babies through to school-aged children in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating home environment.
Over the years, I’ve supported children of all ages and abilities, including those with additional needs, helping each one grow in confidence and develop at their own pace. Many of the children I’ve cared for have stayed with me for several years—and their families often become like extended family too.
I understand how important trust and flexibility are for working families. I’m always happy to discuss your needs and adapt my care to suit different routines, especially for shift workers or parents with non-standard hours.
My Qualifications
I regularly update my training to stay current with all safeguarding, health, and early years standards. I’m committed to providing the highest level of care, learning, and support for every child in my setting.

I work Monday to Friday from 7.30am till 6pm
(but if needed these can be changed if your work shifts)

I contacted Lea concerning emergency childcare for my daughter for a week which she was able to accommodate! My daughter has settled in really nicely and it was her first time going into a childcare setting so I’m really pleased with Lea! Lea is absolutely amazing with her and the other children, she updates me throughout the day about my daughter and now I want my daughter to continue attending with Lea after the one week! Honestly don’t have anything bad to say! Thank you Lea!
