About Me
I'm a well experienced parent myself, my children have left home and given me grandchildren, as you maybe able to tell I am well equipped for any Childs needs. I live at home with my husband Alan, our border collie poppy, she is well loved by the children I currently look after, especially when they get to play ball with her, she has her safe place away from the children but loves them as much as I enjoy working with them. My youngest son still lives with me and is now working in the childcare sector, so I must have done something right with bringing my children up. Our home is spacious with a landscaped garden, where children can play in, they love the play house, trampoline and cars in the garden.
I am an OFSTED registered childminder with a 'good' rating, with a CACHE LEVEL 3 NVQ IN CHILDREN'S CARE, LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT.
I offer full/part time flexible hours.
I offer schools runs to and from staverton school only.

My Experience
I have been an OFSTED registgered childminder for 25years working with children 0-16 years. I have done qualifications which now enable me to offer the 2 year funding and 3/4 year funding entitlement.
I follow the childrens interests as well as the EYFS framework, we have lots of fun on a daily basis with different activities we do, such as; playing with construction toys, dolls, card games, sing songs, playing in the garden, going to mums and tots groups, farm trips, indoor play areas, parks and much, much more.

Steph has had my little boy for a few years now, and wow! I couldn't have picked a better childminder, she is spot on, my little boy has come on leaps and bounds since going with Steph.

Steph cared for my 3 children (including twins) for a year and was super flexible, affordable and accommodating. My children were busy, safe and happy. Steph endeavoured to provide a varied, interesting mix of activities and trips, which in my opinion, went above and beyond the child minding average. Her home was very clean and she has invested properly in toys and equipment. Steph attended professional development courses to keep her practice current, showing her commitment to providing a professional service. Furthermore, I liked her manner with my children (who like all others can be trying) and I was reassured by her sensible approach. I would have no hesitation in using her services again.

I loved looking after these children they each had there own characteristics even the twin boys .There manners were beautiful & I miss there chatter I hope one day I will be able to meet them again .I wish all the family a lovely life in New Zealand .
I've been using steph since january 2012, she looks after my little boy who was only 7 months when he first started going. She does a fantastic job and he loves going there. I know hes safe and enjoying himself. Steph is very reliable and accomidating. I highly recomend her.
