About Me
Hi my name is Karen and I am a fully registered childminder with lots of experience.
I have been childminding since 2000. I have 3 grown up children of my own. Only one of them still lives with me as well as two cats Lilly and Finley.
I pride myself on a homely setting where I welcome people from all backgrounds. I follow the EYFS in our setting at all times.
My Experience
I have been working in early years childcare since 1995. I have worked with children from birth to adults and enjoy every age. I have also been a tutor and assessor for Norfolk County Councils Adult Education teaching early years qualifications.
My Qualifications
I have a level 4 in childcare and a level 3 in playwork. I regularly attend courses to improve my practice.
I have pediatric first aid and safeguarding training.
My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday 7.30am -6pm but can be flexible on my times.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.40 per hour
I charge £4.40 per hour.
I also take funded 2 year olds and 3-4 year olds, I also am able to take the voucher schemes offered by most employers and the Government scheme.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Sprowston Junior School
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Sprowston Infant School

I have been using Karen since September 2019 and I cannot thank her enough for making a heart jerking time so much easier. My now 2 year old absolutely loves Karen and has excepted her as part of our family. When picking her up she always has a smile on her face and in her own way tells me what she’s been doing whether it’s splashing around in water, drawing,painting or playing with the huge choice of toys she has available. I pack my Daughter her own lunch and snacks for the day but Karen will quite often let me know if she’s had something Karen has had.
I cannot thank her enough my Daughter loves Karen and the time she spends with her. Overall fantastic warm caring childminder.
