About Me

Hello!

I am a well-mannered, kind and patient 24-year-old nanny from London, and I have got four years of experience working with children and families. I am also a tutor for school aged children as well as a GCSE tutor for young adults, specialising in Maths and English.

For the last 3 years I have been taking care of two wonderful children (g – 4 and g – 6). It has been a great experience. I got to have a great relationship with the children as well as the parents. Working with a toddler and a school-aged child has been so rewarding!

Working with children has been enjoyable for as long as I can remember. My passion for working with children certainly stems from having two younger sisters. Using my personal experience when it comes to my job has proved to be helpful. Taking on a big sister role means the children and I have a bond that allows us to have fun as well as learn together as well as helping them reach their full potential.

I am always concerned for the physical and emotional well being of the children and teenagers I work with. I remain in contact with the children and families I have worked with. It is a great pleasure to see a child’s progress.

I am devoted to both the children and parents according to their needs. My involvement in a family is both professional and personal; I always think it is important to have a good relationship with the children as well as the parents!

I aim to be kind to everyone and to act fairly and with respect. I am patient with children but I do not let them get away with not being nice to their siblings or their nanny, parents and friends.

I am polite, adaptable, nurturing and have always been taught to put others first and I think that is really important when it comes to working with children.

I am a keen traveller having travelled most of Europe and Southern Africa. I often tell the children I look after stories of the places I have been and they always ask to hear more about the lions in Africa. I am also a keen swimmer and active young lady. I enjoy being in the outdoors, taking children to the park or swimming pools, going for bike rides or even just playing football in the garden.

I hope this gives a little insight to the kind of person and nanny I am.
