About Me
My name is Melissa I live in Shirley. I am a mother of 3 girls who are 24 and 20 I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2004 but have worked in the childcre profession for over 30 years.
As a qualified child carer I provide a wide range of activities and expierences.I have a well equiped playroom and garden offering a range of toys and activities which include arts and crafts,playdough,colouring,role play,cars and garage,duplo, jigsaws,Happyland,dressing up,
games,cooking,in the garden we have a sandpit, scooters bikes,swing,slides climbing frames and much more.I visit playgroups most days, in the school holidays we have trips to farms, parks, Lickey Hills,the library, Soft play etc. We also have a cat called Poppy.
My Experience
I have worked in private day nurseries and nannied for private families before taking up childminding when my eldest was starting school.
I have been working with children for over 30 years.
My Qualifications
I have my NVQ in childcare and Education, Paediatric first aid, health and safety, food hygiene and I am fully CRB checked.
Last Ofsted inspection November 2022 I achieved GOOD in all areas
My Availability
My working hours are Monday ~ Friday 7:30am to 5-30pm
I work 47 weeks a year
