About Me
My name is Karen. I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I live in Aston with my husband and my 3 daughters, aged 20,17 and 11.
I am very family orientated and aim to provide a homely setting, where children can have fun, play and explore with as much freedom and fresh air as possible.
My Experience
I gained my Ofsted registration at the beginning of October 2014 and have childminding since then. I have experience caring for all ages from birth through to teenagers, both as a childminder and a mum.
My Qualifications
I have completed my childminder introductory training, Safeguarding training, Food Hygiene and hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
I am working towards the Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare.
My Availability
I have before and after school places available for children attending Aston All Saints C of E School.
I provide school holiday care, although I do take 4 weeks holiday myself during the year in school holidays. These are usually the last two weeks of the summer holidays, October half term and another week at either Easter or Spring Bank.
I also have places for children under 5 years of age, Monday to Thursday. I can drop off and/or collect from Aughton Early Years Centre or other local nurseries and pre-schools.
I am able to offer funded childcare places for eligible children aged 2,3 and 4. Please contact me for further details and availability.
My opening hours are :
7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday during term time.
7:30am to 5.30pm Monday to Wednesday during school holidays.

Karen has been looking after 2 year old this year. We decided to make the transition from nursery to childminding to have our daughters' care a bit more personal and so she wasn't stuck in the same environment day in day out. Karen has provided a comfortable environment for her, with varied days and adventure days too. Every child is individual and she works their care plan to suit. We love that she injects fun intentionally by taking our daughter to groups and doing fun days out too.
we have already recommended Karen to several of our friends knowing that the care she provides is top notch!
