About Me
We are a family with 3 daughters (16, 15 & 12). Our youngest has special needs and attends a specialist school here in Chorley. She has Angelman Syndrome and learning disabilities.
She is a happy and loving child who is progressing well, although she is clearly very behind other children her age.
She is mobile and happy to be driven to places and back home.
My Requirements
Amelia has a care package from the Local Authority and we have employed many carers over the last 8 years. Most of our carers have been with us throughout this time. However, we are currently looking for 2 extra carers. 1 to cover an after school shift (approx 3.30-7.30pm) and 1 for a full weekend day shift (approx 10.30-6.30pm).
The role will suit somebody of a kind and caring nature with some experience of childcare. Amelia takes a while to get to know and respond to a new carer, so somebody local with experience of Special Needs care provision is preferred, but not essential.
You will patient and friendly, taking time to get to know her.
Own transport is required.
Rate of pay is £15.00/hour + Expenses
