Hi Im Theresa, I'm an Ofsted registered childminder in Dinnington (S25) area. I am married with a daughter aged 17 years old.
My Experience
I registered as a childminder in June 2010, but I have childcare experience through looking after my own daughter. I have also, during my childcare training worked at First Start nursery; and have also volunteered at a local school.

My children started here at the beginning of the year. Originally as a one off day but then they loved it so much they wanted to carry on coming and now they go pretty much every day.
My children have complex needs and things are not easy for them but both children have thrived. It's very low demand and child led which for us as a family was essential.
What struck me at the beginning was when going in for a visit was how calm everything was. It was very much like home.. it just felt right and My children obviously felt the same as they won't go anywhere else..
Both children's development has come on leaps and bounds both educationally and socially. The difference in my youngest is astounding from a year ago to now..
Theresa really understands autism, demand avoidance and complex needs..she looks things up and researches them, going above and beyond which again is something we have never experienced.
I hope Theresa knows how much as a parent I am grateful for the fantastic care, support and guidance she gives and how much she means to both of my children.
Highly reccomend..

Theresa has looked after my daughter from the age of 1 years old, my daughter has loved being with Theresa, the communication throughout the day with photos and updates along with the activities they do and the healthy snacks she provides at her own expense was just fantastic. Theresa is so friendly and attentive and my daughter loved her and the family who made her feel so welcome. My daughter has developed so much throughout her time with Theresa , it has been a great stepping stone for her in preparation for pre-school in the coming months. I would recommend her to anyone.

Theresa has looked after my little boy for the past 2 years and has nurtured his development to my complete satisfaction. As my wife and I worked shifts, we needed someone who was flexible and able to work with us to ensure that my son's needs were always met without this impacting adversely on our work and financial circumstances. Theresa was fantastic throughout, provided well balanced meals for my son and conducted a range of additional activities with him at her own expense. As my son now starts primary school, I can't thank her enough for all she has done. My son is well mannered and aware of so many different things in the world. He is well prepared for his first year at school and much of that is due to Theresa and her wonderful family's input. I whole heartedly recommend Theresa to anyone who is looking for a first class childminder.

Theresa has been looking after my daughter for almost 3 years now. She has brought her on beautifully. Her home has a really warm and nurturing environment with a focus on fostering independence, relationships and wellbeing. Theresa has also been helpful to be personally guiding me through discussions around my daughter outside the childcare setting and giving advice on skill development. We have never had any hiccups or negative experiences and have felt a lot of guidance and good care. Theresa's family set up is very lovely and welcoming too which has helped a lot and we are grateful for. There has been flexibility where we needed it and her meals, routines, activities have been well planned. I would wholeheartedly recommend Theresa's to anyone considering childcare options. My daughter loves her time there and I love her being there.

Thereasa has been childminding my 3 year old since October 2010 and I have to say choosing her was the best thing I have done for my daughter. My daughter has improved & developed many skills in a very short time she has been with her. Anyone looking for a childminder I would strongly recommend her as you will be very pleased with what she can offer. I could rate Thereasa an "Excellent" for this website but it can only give "good" rate which does not really give a true rate of her childminding skills.
