I am a MA graduate from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and I have found that the skills I have from being a qualified actor and children’s workshop leader allows me to have a effective approach on children's learning.
I am a warm, friendly tutor who believes every child should look forward to learning and expanding their knowledge. Children should believe that reaching their targets is fun and within their reach.
I encourage children to be creative and I prepare interactive lessons that will allow them to learn in their own unique way as we find together ways of working that is most effective for them.
This attitude means that I have a completely original approach to each student and this relationship then encourages students to look forward to their lessons and ultimately results in them achieving their full potential.
My Experience
I have experience babysitting and working as a nanny with families, work which involves supervising and tutoring homework daily across a wide variety of subjects. I am also experienced in helping children develop their reading skills. I have experience and am confident with cooking and taking children on public transport.
I am a children’s entertainer and work with groups of up to 30 children on fun, interactive and educational activities. This work has allowed me to come into contact with various personalities across a broad age range and has taught me how to communicate best with children through first hand experience.
I also work regularly in schools with children through theatre in education projects using interactive games and performances to support and maximise learning. It is with these skills that I prepare my lessons.
