About Me
Hi :) I am an Ofsted graded "good" childminder, who lives in Kingsbury with my husband, eleven year old son and six year old daughter.
I live within 15 minutes walking distance from Kingsbury Primary School and Preschool. I am only a 3 minute walk from Kingsbury Water Park and have the beautiful Kingsbury Meadow just off the bottom of my road. We have a separate playroom with space downstairs for lots of toys and movement. We enjoy yoga and physical exercise every day. I have a spacious kitchen and conservatory for baking, sensory and messy play. I have a downstairs shower room which is set up to support mindees with potty training and toileting independence.
Outside we have a large grassed garden where we have numerous push around toys, trikes, scooters, a gardening patch, a sand and water table, swing set, mud kitchen and den area. My garden is fully enclosed with a coded security lock on the gate.
All children in my care are treated as individuals. They are encouraged to pursue their own interests while being introduced to and supported through, new and challenging activities. I go to weekly baby and toddler groups - Mondays I attend Childminder playgroup and I meet with other childminders regularly. The minded children and I enjoy regular nature walks and trips to the park(s) every day. We enjoy bus trips to Tamworth market, the library and to Tamworth castle grounds. We enjoy occasional train trips into Birmingham City centre.
My Experience
I have been child minding for the past 10 years. I have taught the EYFS and Key Stage 1 across both Birmingham and Sandwell LEA for 3 years. I have taught Secondary School Design Technology for 12 years before becoming a mother. I also have a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.25 per hour
£5.50 per hour including all food and drinks, per EYFS child none funded.
15 and 30 hours government funded hours available for eligible 9 month+, 2, 3 and 4 year old children.
