My Summary
About Me
I truly enjoy working with children I have worked in a nursery before but feel I have a lot of love to offer a child in my care and this role would allow for a strong bond, cater to specific needs, routine, likes dislikes and abilities of the individual child. I really can bond with babies and love engaging them in play.
My Experience
I've had a years experience in a nursery. I worked in an after school club for 3 years starting off 1 day a week working with other staff, then was regualar staff member meeting children from school and taking them to the hall. As our numbers got smaller i was trained in lone working so i collected, prepared sandwich meal, set up activities and secured the setting after the child was collected.
I was also a carer for a special needs man aged 23 on a Saturday working with him allowing his mum a break. I also volunteer as a youth worker at my local youth club for children with special needs or disabilities aged 7-14 when i dont have other work commitments.
i am a babysitter for a 5 year old when his mum wants to go out, a babysitter for a 1 year old and a 20month old. I am also often a night nanny to a 2 and 1/2 year old when his mum has night shifts and occassionally hia day time babysitter.
During covid when schools went back i provided before and after school care for a boy in year 1
I have been a nanny to a 15month old for 5 weeks who was a Covid baby. His mum needed to be more foccused on work, but my care of him enabled him to have the confidence to enjoy going to a childminder. but im still in contact and he remembered me when i visited him 7 months later!
I have also been a nanny to a child of the simmilar age for 2 months. It took time for her to be settled and happy with me. We both got to know her routine and she grew some independence. We enjoyed daily walks out. She is now atttending nursery. I was then recommended to their neighbour who's 1 and a half year old I picked up from nursery 2 afternoons a week. We would often go for walks in the park. This little girl was very clingy with her parents and was anxious and upset without them around. After working with them 3 months and then them being away, the next time I picked her up she was very happy to see me. My last 2 months before she went to full time nursery aged 2 we were very close.
I have recently been a morning nanny to a little boy (11-13months). I arrived before his mum left for work, got his breakfast ready, got him changed for the day, we played and read books and would then go for a walk so he could sleep then drop him off to his mum's work at lunch time (August and September)
I would be very interested in this job please let me know more details and get in touch if your interested.
Thanks

I had Marianne babysit my 11 month old at home for a day as he normally goes to nursery and had a great experience. She was lovely and my son felt instantly comfortable with her. I highly recommend Marianne!
Marianne is passionate about her job and is always on time. She is calm and professional and was always gentle with my son. I would recommend Marianne as a reliable person.
Marianne was really great with my one year old. He was finding it difficult to adjust with new people as he was a lockdown baby and was stuck at home with me without any interactions with the outside world. Marianne was very patient with him and it was evident he loved her company. She read to him and they played together and I could see he grew confident with other people through these interactions. Marianne is reliable and responsible, always on time. Marriane’s passion for her job was very obvious to me from the first meeting.
Marianne was very gentle and patient with my baby, reading her books.
I felt so confident leaving her with Marianne.
