My Requirements

AFTER SCHOOL HELP ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS - STARTING MARCH 2025

We are looking for help on Wednesday afternoons from 3.45 - 6.45pm. The role would involve collecting our middle child (G9) from school in the West End - and taking her to her after-school activity on the Glasgow subway, and then returning home afterwards. There's no requirement to drive.

After dropping our daughter back, the role might extend to helping out at home with the kids - eg with homework, preparing kids' food, tidying/clearing up in the kitchen. We have two other children, B10 and G5.

In addition to the 1 afternoon per week, we'd be offering additional evening babysitting (particularly on a Wednesday) and possibly extra hours during the term-time or holidays - on an ad hoc basis. So there's opportunity to grow the hours in this role, if all goes well!

We are looking for someone energetic and fun-loving who genuinely enjoys the company of primary school age kids - but who is also kind, calm, patient, mature, trustworthy and dependable, with good initiative.

Our 3 kids are all naturally outgoing and sociable, so tend to form lovely bonds with whoever helps looks after them.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Native / fluent English speaker
- Available Wed afternoons 3.45 - 6.45pm (and ideally Wednesday evenings too - for ad hoc additional babysitting)
- Proven working experience with primary school age children - as a babysitter, nanny, after school helper, or working in a kids' club or school in some capacity. (I will require 2 x references.)
