About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with over 10 years experience rated "Good" at my most recent and previous inspections. I live with my husband and our three lovely children, a daughter aged 12, a son aged 11 and a son aged 8.
We live in a spacious home on Seaforth Gardens with a large garden where the children love to play and explore. I have no pets and both I and my husband are non-smokers.
I am close to a couple of local parks and am a short walk from Stoneleigh train station, local shops and a number of schools.
I offer a warm and friendly, home from home environment with plenty of toys and resources for children of all ages to enjoy. We enjoy a range of activities including crafts, yoga, and music.
We visit local toddler groups each week, local parks and soft play and regular trips to Hobbledown. We also take trips to various National Trust locations and garden centres to name a few to broaden children's learning about the world around them!
I offer 15 and 30 hours funding.

Naturally every parent is apprehensive about finding a childminder that is suited to their needs. And after we had a bad experience in nursery settings, we were so worried about going ahead with Carly. But wow. I honestly cannot fault her or her welcoming setting! She’s not someone who overwhelms herself with little ones. She takes ample time to get to know them and really build a bond. My daughter has been with Carly for almost a year now and she gets so excited when it’s time to see ‘Larlee!’. I get regular updates and my daughter always leaves so happy with her day. Shes learned manners and plays so nicely with other children that she could have only learned here.
We’ve recently relocated to Portsmouth but we have made sure we have our daughter in with Carly for once a week still because she has come on leaps and bounds with her! We’d take Carly with us if we could have!
I’m not one to leave reviews but honestly if you are ever looking for a safe, secure and genuine childminder, Carly is the one.

Carly looked after our son Beau from 9 months to 22 months (he left due to Carly having her third baby) and was everything we wanted in a childminder. What with Beau being quite little when he started, Carly made him feel very at home and like one of her own. She was caring, loving, fun and always taking him out to fun places or doing crafty things at home. Carly was always very professional and reliable for us too and ensured we had detailed accounts of what our son was up to and his learning journey - the daily photos really helped too! Beau still misses Carly and her wonderful children. We'd highly recommend Carly!
