My Requirements

We are looking for a new childminder to help with our boys pre and post school (typically, Monday 3-6pm, Tues 7:30-9am and 3-6pm, Wed 7:30am-9am and 2-6pm, Thurs 7:30-9am and 3-6pm, Friday is flexible as we can cover Fridays usually.

Our boys are 7 & 10. They are bright, interested, social kids. They like to chat a lot! Our older son is very interested in music science and reading. He has discovered a flare for drums and is currently learning grade 5 and loves it. He also plays a bit of football, Cricket and loves to get out on his bike. Our younger son is very into Lego, art and gardening/nature. He also plays football, loves going to the park and woodland walks. They both love swimming and climbing/trampoling and skiing.

We are seeking someone who can be flexible with after school times as sometimes my husband and I both go to London for work and that can sometimes mean later meetings or train delays.

The role entails school drop offs and pick ups (own car essential), packed lunches, kit bags, after school care including, various clubs, dinner, homework support and a good dose of chats/laughs.

I travel abroad for work from time to time which can mean a bit extra support with house management such as ensuring kids uniforms are prepped or packed lunch/kids dinner ingredients are purchased etc.

There will also be the opportunity for extra hours with babysitting, overnights, house admin/management. (Post office runs, dry cleaning collection etc)
We do not have a large family nearby (both Irish) so we hope to find someone who is interested in supporting us as a family and seeing this as a long term opportunity.
