About Me

We require immediate help for our family, principally to help with school/after school club pick up for our bubbly affectionate 9 year old. He is a bright enthusiastic boy and loves playing games (from dobble to chess), drawing and lego. We have two other children in secondary school and though they’ll be around, they’re a bit more independent and are likely to be happy to get on with their homework or taking themselves off to after school activities. We will need someone to prepare tea and just oversee everything for a few hours after school on 1-3 days a week until we are able to get home from work.

We would be able to offer you more hours if you would like - it would be great if you could do an extra few hours to help with laundry etc.

We have a busy but friendly family home, quite a big house with a big garden. Our primary school is just a 10 minute walk away. Together as a family we enjoy going on walks in the local countryside, or cycle rides along the Canal near to Bath.  We try to have a healthy home (active/food).

Dad works at the University of Bath in the Centre for International Development and enjoys going travelling to Africa, and Mum works as a lawyer for schools. We love learning about other countries and cultures and trying out new foods.

We have had an after-school nanny who was doing an Early Years degree at Bath Spa but sadly for us she’s just started a PGCE - she would be more than happy to respond to any questions you have. Most of the time our home is fun and good humoured, and I’m sure you wouldn't get bored - separately and together they’re usually really good company!

Pay is negotiable depending on your flexibility, will pay £13-14/hour (depending on experience).  Sometimes we might ask if you can do extra babysitting, depending on your availability of course.
