Hi
We are a happy family of four looking for a Sunday support worker for our 11 year old son who has server autism with profound learning disabilities. He is non verbal and has some behavioural issues but in the whole Is very loving, happy and friendly.
We are looking for someone who is DBS checked and can provide care and support both at home and in the outside environment.
We are looking for a carer who can commit to working every Sunday from 10am till 4/6pm
We are looking for someone who has previous experience caring for SEN children especially Autism.
We are looking for:
- someone who is reliable, punctual, hardworking and committed to the role
- someone who is caring protective, responsible, understanding & be able engage and stimulate our son during sessions.
- Someone who is able to handle personal care such as bathing and toileting.
- Someone is is physically able to manage our son calmly & safely in the event of any challenging behavioural issues that may arise. (This is not often but can happen)

Our son loves to be in the outdoors so we are looking for a fun, engaging, nurturing and caring person who can keep him well occupied with varied activities in the community.
Duties will include:
Swimming
Local Parks
Trampolining
Soft play
Travelling on Buses and Trains to places of interest.
Ideally (not a must) we are looking for someone who holds a full, clean driving licence and can be use their own vehicle. We will pay Mileage and expenses incurred on trips and outings.
We are based in Beckenham and are in close proximity to a number of rail links and bus routes. If this position is of interest please do not hesitate to contact me.
