About Me
We are a busy family with an 11 year old girl and a 9 year old boy based in central Chelmsford looking for a part time nanny housekeeper.
My Requirements
Nanny housekeeper role 25-30 hours per week. The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic and can use their initiative. Employed basis including NEST pension. Start date mid August.
Term time hours: Tues 3-6.30pm, Weds 7am-9am and 3-7pm, Thurs 7.30am-9am and 3-7pm, Fri 7.30-9am and 3-6.30pm (total 20 hours) plus 5-10 hours housekeeping to be done Weds-Fri during the school day.
School holiday hours: same number of hours per week, typically 1 long day 7am-7pm and 2 shorter days by mutual agreement.
Driving license/car not necessary but must be happy to walk to after school activities approx 1 mile away and back. School is a 5-10 minute walk away.
Role includes typically nanny duties for 2 children age 9 and 11 (preparing breakfast and getting kids ready for school, after school snack and activities/homework/music practice/crafts/park/playing in the garden etc. Light cooking for dinner. All kids laundry, ironing school uniforms, helping kids keep bedrooms tidy and organised. Ensuring kitchen is tidy at the end of the day.
Housekeeping includes some household ironing, putting away supermarket delivery and keeping kitchen and common areas organised and tidy.
Recent DBS required. You must have the right to work in the UK.
