About Me
My name is Kitty Gamble, I have been an Ofsted Rated Outstanding childminder for over 15 years. I am a parent of 2 school aged children and have many years previous experience of managing pre schools, both in England and in Finland. A few days per week, my husband works with me as my assistant (he has been a teacher both in England and Finland).
We both thoroughly enjoy our job and we provide exceptional, personalised learning experiences for your children in a stimulating home from home environment ; all supported by secure, caring relationships.
Our home is welcoming, safe and well equipped and we have a large secure garden with direct access to open fields and a 5 minute walk to a local petting farm . We visit a variety of toddler groups in the local area and explore the RSPB weekly. I have good relationships with the local preschools and primary schools and pride myself in excellent partnerships with the families I look after.
I accept childcare vouchers, am signed up to the government tax free scheme and offer funding for children from 9 months and 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
My Experience
My husband and I both have extensive experience in Early Years (in England and Finland). I qualified in Belgium to teach preschool aged children and have since worked in pre schools in Finland and England. I have been childminding for over 15 years and was rated Outstanding by Ofsted during my last 3 inspections. My husband is a qualified teacher and has worked with Early Years, Primary school age and Secondary school children.

My Availability
I work Tuesday to Friday from 7.30 am till 6.00 pm and can do school drop off and pick ups in the village.

Having two children with a 5 year age gap, I am so pleased to have been able to send them both to Kitty. My eldest adores going there afterschool and comes home telling us all
About what fun she has had, and at the time of starting with her at 9 months old, my very shy, timid little boy has absolutely thrived in Kitty’s care. He is confident, happy, engaged and “cheeky” and loves his days with her. Kitty has worked really closely with us, on getting my son into the best routine for him, and supports with naps, new foods, developmental leaps and social skills. The perfect place for my children. I also appreciate the daily updates and look forward, each day, To getting photos of my son and daughter enjoying their time at ‘Kitty’s house’ each day.

Having 2 older boys, we have used our fair share of childcare settings over the years. Kitty and Ian, are by far the best! The genuine compassion, love and care provided comes so naturally. My daughter absolutely loves attending, doesn't want to leave when I collect her! They attend various play groups and spend lots of time outdoors exploring. I love the fact kitty puts so much effort into making a folder for each child to document photos and learning progress, it's not all done on an app which we won't be able to view again!
We receive daily photos of the activities too, which is so lovely to see.
I could wrote much more, but the bottom line is cannot recommend this setting enough!

Kitty is a wonderful! She looks after my two little boys (ages 9 months and 2) and both love going to her house. She always takes them out for fun and interesting activities like local playgroups, trips to the rspb and seeing the farm animals. She is great at keeping us updated with photos and messages. She has a lot of experience and knowledge of the eyfs curriculum and keeps track of the boys progress really well. My eldest has come on in leaps and bounds since he started going and is now chatting away in full sentences!
We feel very grateful that our boys have such a great home from home to go to when we are at work.

We use Kitty and Ian for both our children (starting from when they were 1y/o and will continue for school drop off/collection) after they were highly recommended and we couldn’t ask for better care, we trust them entirely. Our two absolutely love going to their house and we love getting feedback and pictures of their days out/what they’ve been up to and they always come back with massive smiles on their faces. It feels like leaving them at a home away from home and if you’re looking for childcare, look no further- you will not find better!
