About Me

I am a professional with a degree in Spanish law and more than 15 years of experience working across various industries including banking and consultancy. Now, looking for a new opportunity as a professional Spanish teacher. I arrived to the UK 5 years ago and during this time I have been studying English, working as a waitress at the Telegraph Media Group newspaper and also formally studying to become a Spanish teacher, thus, I have a obtained a diploma from The Cervantes Institute which allows me to teach Spanish as a foreign language. I am originally from Spain, that allows me to teach both, the language as well as the Spanish culture, I sincerely believe that learning a language with the tuition of a native speaker is the best way to learn it.
In Spain, I had the opportunity to be a law teacher in the past, that experience made me understand how rewarding it is to be contributing to other people’s education, that experience also proved to me that preparation, planning and communication are essential skills needed when teaching.
In addition, my Bachelor’s degree in Law plus my knowledge in the banking and consultancy industries can be useful for students who require their Spanish to be improved for business reason, professional advancement, tourism or “survival Spanish” I believe languages open doors to exciting opportunities in life. I am person who really enjoys helping people reach their language goals, whatever they may be; improve their grammar/vocabulary, writing, listening, speaking and confidence levels. My teaching style is very flexible and fun which makes learning Spanish an enjoyable experience.
