Hi, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
My name is Roxy, I am 30 years old and living in Malvern.
I have 15 years experience working with children from new born up to 19 years.
I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and experience throughout the years working in nurseries, au pairing and nannying.
I am first aid trained and I have current clean DBS which is on the update service.
During my nannying roles, I did various jobs, including;
school pick ups, planning and carrying out fun and educational activities, taking the children on days out, arranged and attended play dates, organised children’s & families calendars e.g dentist & doctors appointments, organised children’s school calendars, prepared healthy and nutritional packed lunches, laundry/ironing, food shopping, meal planning, cooking/baking, light house cleaning, house sitting, pet sitting, dog walking, along with other miscellaneous jobs.
I'm current working as a Nanny/Housekeeper in Cheltenham working Monday-Thursday 07:45- 5:30. I am available some Fridays, along with evening and weekend babysitting. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
My Experience
From a very young age, I've always had a way with children. In primary school they called me the pied piper as I always had a line of younger children following me.
At the age of 15 I started my apprenticeship as a nursery assistant where I gained my level 2 qualification in child care along with my first aid training qualification. In 2019 I completed my Level 3 NVQ in Early Years Education.
From there I've had nanny jobs, along with working as a child support worker. My roles as a nanny involved completing school runs, preparing meals, carrying out household chores and generally caring, interacting and playing with the children.
In September 2016 I went to nanny in America for 4 months, which I loved!
I have also babysat for numerous families over the past 14 years with children ranging from 8 months to 16 years.
I feel that I am a well experienced babysitter/nanny and I'm hoping I can help more families out there who are in need of a trustworthy person to care for their child/children when they are in need of some time away!
I have also just completed my first counselling course, as I hope to counsel children in the future.

Roxy came to babysit my two boys of 3 and 5 at short notice for an evening. As soon as they met she instantly put them at ease in what had been a quite distressing time for them.
They can be quite a handful especially at bed time but she had it all under control.
My boys wouldn’t stop going on about Roxy she definitely made a lasting impression 😃.
Highly recommended.

Overall
Roxy has been babysitting my two children aged 20months and 3years since September 2014. She has always been on time, flexible and fantastic with the children. Roxy took time to come and meet my children and get to know them before she was left to look after them, and the children were thrilled to see her again!
Roxy is also loved by our family dog who can always persuade her into a few rounds of fetch!
I can highly recommend Roxy, this coming from the slightly paranoid mother of two extremely precious ivf babies!

Roxy has been babysitting for me for several months now and I don't know where I would be without her. She is amazing with my daughter and it just seems to come so naturally to her. My daughter admires her and I wouldn't trust her with any other babysitter. She is flexible with hours and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. I would recommend her services to anyone.

Overall
I first met Roxy when she worked at the nursery my children attended, and she now babysits for my 2 daughters aged 6 and 9 on a regular basis. She is loads of fun and my girls love seeing her. She is usually available when we need her, and doesn't mind doing late nights which is great. Roxy is also good with dogs (a bonus as we have a crazy spaniel puppy!)
