Hi, thanks for taking the time to view my profile, I’m so happy you’re here!
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about me and my setting.
My name is Corinne Foster, I’m married to my husband Neil. I have two children – grown up now – and two wonderful grandchildren.
We live on a quiet cul-de-sac in Dronfield Woodhouse, close to some great primary schools, open playing fields local parks and woods. Which we love to visit.
I am proud say that I have been awarded OFSTED ‘Outstanding.’
I have an abundance of experience in childcare. Every child who comes through my setting truly becomes an extension of my family. I keep in touch with all my children – it’s fantastic to hear how some are getting on at university, secondary school and even some with their own children. What a privilege it has been to be a part of their lives.
I provide a home from home environment. Where the children feel safe, comfortable and nurtured as well as facilitating all the key areas of learning and development – through play.
The children have a large play area that gives them plenty of room to explore a variety of activities allowing them to learn through play. I have a quiet reading corner with an array of books to instil a joy of reading, a transport corner, a craft and puzzle area, a topical/seasonal sensory play area and a home corner with small world and role play area. I also have a large space for music and movement – which the children love. The playroom opens out on to a large, safe and secure out door decked area, with various ride on toys, a playhouse and a water play zone. In the garden the children have grass to play on with a mud kitchen, construction area and a climbing frame. We love to grow vegetables together, which helps promote healthy lifestyles and sustainability.

My Experience
I have worked for 2 years at a crèche in Australia. I have also worked in a local nursery.
I currently look after children ranging from 4 -10 years of age. In my experience children thrive in a home from home approach giving them the consistency they need in a safe and happy environment and being able to learn through a play.
My Qualifications
I hold an NVQ3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development.
