About Me
Hi my name is Allison Marker I live in the village of Wembdon with my husband, I have 3 grown up children, I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2004 and offer a home from home fun learning environment.
We go exploring our natural environment daily to local parks, woods, beach, garden centres,local small holding with animals, we go on wellie walks and visit the library. We meet with other childminders to give the children experiences with other children in a larger group We daily use my large garden for physical and extended play. We have our own local allotment to grow fruit and vegetables.
I have a separate playroom with a large variety of educational resources to cover the age ranges of 3 months to 5 years
I follow the Early years foundation stage to plan my curriculum for your child's development the same as nurseries and pre schools. I use the online babysdays journal to share daily routines and photos with you.

I have been a registered childminder since November 2004, have my own 3 grown up children and 2 grandchildren, I have previously worked as a live-in Nanny

NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and development
Paediatric First aid
Child protection/safeguarding
Somerset Total Communication (sign launguage)
Food Hygiene
I am always updating my training and attend regular early years provider and information evenings and subscribe to childcare webinars
I am part of the Bridgwater early years communities group

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
From £5 per hour I also claim the 15 hours government funding for 2,3&4 year olds and the extended 30 hours
I am registered for the tax free childcare through Hmrc please ask for more details
