About Me
My name is Jennie and have been Childminder in Whitstable for 9 years. I have been graded OUTSTANDING in all areas in my last Ofsted inspection and also hold a first class with honours degree in Early Childhood Education and Care. I understand that chosing someone to care for your child when you decide to return to work or training is one of the hardest decisions for a family to make. I provide a high quality and professional childcare service to parents who need someone to provide a home from home environment for their child.
As well as having a fun packed play room and a quiet room for children to rest their tired eyes I also have a beautiful garden log cabin which has a covered outdoor area so we can make the use of a forest schools education all year round.
I work part time alongside lecturing in Early Years.

I am a quality assured childminder which means I can deliver funded nursery sessions for 2/3/4 year olds and I also accept nursery payment schemes.
I am married with 2 boys, have a friendly dog called Ruby, Sid the bearded dragon and a naughty tortoise called Mr Shell.
My Experience
Work part time as an Early Years Lecturer
Extensive experience in children from newborn to 16.
8 years experience teaching PSHE in schools from reception class to year 11.
2 years experience in managing a group of Youth Workers in my local area including working in youth groups.
Prior to childminding I worked for Canterbury City Council and was a designated person for Child Protection.
Volunteer weekly at my local primary school in their reception team.
