Dear families!

I am very interested in the nanny role with your family.

My name is Jitka (Yitka) and I have been a professional childcare provider for nearly 20 years with a teaching background.

I specialise as a Maternity Nanny since 2017.

Weaning, gentle sleep "training ", setting up routine, recommending the most relevant and safe toys, activities inside and outside the house, park, playgroups & playgrounds, providing stimulating and nurturing environment.

I hold Maternity Nurse training, Teaching College Diploma (SEN and Art) and I am MEd in Education.


I also have many additional training and courses supporting my qualifications:

Learning through Play,

Managing Behaviour under 5

Potty training

Healthy Eating (inc.weaning) etc.

I like to use the Montessori / Reggio Emilia approach as well as following EYFS.

I am also OFSTED registered and insured.

Because of my qualifications, I have extensive knowledge of Early Years, I am always checking on hygiene and safety, I pay lots of attention to development and I am engaging and motivated, routine oriented, but fun.

I am flexible, I prefer sole care for children but I can work in a team with parents, following parental approach.

I was doing proxy parenting and I am used to travelling in the UK, EU, and internationally.

I also love cooking healthy meals for children, once they are able to experience the variety, and I see it as an integral part of my job.

I have experience with a Jewish, Indian, Arab, French, Italian, Greek, same sex and single families so I have an open mind to multicultural life.

One of my strengths is that I can advise on learning resources for children, suitable toys as well as setting up activities all for the relevant ages.

This is something I thrives on, one of my employers said about me that

“She provided a range of activities – music and messy play and would present activity suggestions to the parents each week to check they were happy. Jitka’s strengths were that she paid lots of attention to development and was engaging and motivated.”

Another employer gave an example of me being proactive
