Hi my name is Joan Wilson and i am a registered childminder with Scottish Care Commission and been graded an all over 5 in the the last two inspection by the CC. I am also a member of the Scottish Childmindin Services. They help me to attain any relevant training pertaining to all child care services.

My Experience
I have been a childminder now for 15years, but have been the care services now for 22 years, dealing with all care groups, from the very young to the elderly, all requiring help and support in thier daily life. This has taught me no matter how long you know and work with someone, irrelevant of thier age, every day that person will surprise you with something new. Which has helped me while working with children, because every day is different and with the children learning something new every day, they in turn are always surprising you.
My Qualifications
I have my pre SCMA training.
I have my food hygien certificate
I have my SVQ 7 child care
I have a GSVQ3 social care qualification and a HNC social care qualifiction, svq 3 childcare and young people
I have a paediatric first aid certificate
My Availability
My sevice supplies full and part time child care, before and after scool care, opening hours are 7am to 5/5.30pm.
for a small additional fee i will also pick children up from their home and drop them off at their home or designated place.
