Hello! Suzy here. I have been in childcare for 13 years, 8 of those as a private nanny and now I have 2 beautiful children of my own!
I am currently looking for a lovely family who would allow me to bring my youngest son (15 months) to work with me. If you have a child of a similar age this works really well as I have previously done the same with my eldest and they are still besties to this day!
I would need to drop my eldest to school at 8.45 and collect in the afternoon. So if you require help within those hours please do get in touch. We would have to work through logistics but I can be flexible to help you with your requirements to make this work for all.
As a mother myself I understand how hard it can be juggling work commitments and childcare so let's figure this out together!
There are many benefits of having a nanny with own child so please don't be put off by this factor.

My Experience
During my Diploma in Child Care and Education course I was sent to a number of placements to gain experience working in different areas of care. Some of these included work within schools, families with new borns and a period spent at a children's hospital unit. After gaining my qualifications, I became a Level 3 Nursery Nurse at a private nursery. I spent 5 years there and absolutely loved it. I started in the baby room, looking after children from 6 months to a year where I was able to gain experience becoming a highly competent child care provider. After one year I was promoted to Room Leader in the toddler room, caring for children aged 1-2 years old. I was in charge of making sure the children were happy, well looked after, stimulated and in the safest hands possible.
I spent 2 years working in a care home for the elderly which was a fantastic and very rewarding job, however, I felt my heart laid with the younger generation and so I became a Nanny.
I have been a Nanny since 2015 and can honestly say I love my job!
A typical week for me would be taking the children to various playgroups, arts and crafts, local parks, libraries and play dates with other nannies or mothers, as well as more focused activities to help educate the children in a fun but calm way.
I have created strong bonds with all the children I have nannied for which is evident in the mornings when I am greeted with big cuddles and smiles!

Suzy is genuinely the highlight of my son’s life. Of course he adores mummy and daddy, but as soon as Suzy and her son walk through the door, my son squeals with joy and runs to her.
Suzy lives and breathes this job- everything is impt to her:
-developing language
-making nutritious meals
-balancing song, dance, and art
-teaching everything from shapes, colours, numbers, and opposites (soft/hard, cold/hot)
-taught my son “please, no thank you, yes, no, more, gentle”
-always does the washing of clothes and dishes, cooks, cleans after the kids, and always leaves the house tidy before she goes
My son was in nursery 2x/week and he learned soooo much more with Suzy than at nursery. She genuinely enjoys teaching them about the world and it’s beautiful to see them understand.
She has 2 car seats and frequently takes the boys to baby classes, multiple parks, softplay, even farms. Also has a double buggy to take them on walks.
My son loved having her son with us everyday, they have become truly like brothers and they will always be part of our family.
We did everything we could to keep Suzy with us, but we got into a nursery from a waiting list and they can only allow us to join if we do all 5 days.
She is a true gem and I urge you to snatch her up ASAP, you will never regret it and your kid(s) will never forget her.
