About Us
We provide quality care for children aged six weeks to five years in a friendly, happy and homely environment.
Open Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm, excluding bank holidays and one week between Christmas and New Year.
Play Box offers a variety of spaces across various days, making us fully flexible and allowing us to accommodate a wide range of shift patterns, which can be altered on a weekly basis if required.
Our shift places are designed to help all parents in the best way possible, proving ideal times for many different working patterns - particularly hospital workers, emergency service personnel and other shift-based roles.

Fun, engaging daily activities indoor and outdoor every day.
15 - 30 Hours free childcare education available for Three to Four year olds, as well as children eligible for the national 'time for twos' scheme.
Healthy meals and snacks provided daily.
All major childcare vouchers accepted.

- Childcare from £325.00 per week
Fees vary and are dependent upon required times and days of childcare. These are worked out on an individual basis to enable each family to choose their own hours.

Through moving houses my son has been placed into a few different nurseries. Playbox is by far the best decision I've made. The staff are ever so friendly and exceptional at what they do. I had concerns about my son settling into a new nursery and making new friends, the staff, especially the owner made me feel so at ease and confident that my son was in safe hands. Throughout his time at playbox I have seen him grow so much, he is more outgoing as a child and prepared to try so many different types of food, something I didn't think was possible. I have never seen him so happy in a placement before. The one final thing I've found so exceptional about playbox is that they are accepting and supportive of me being a single male parent and offer advice/guidance whenever I need it.
I'd like to thank playbox and thoroughly recommended this nursery to anyone.
