Home from Home Care

Our son was with Hazel from aged 1 - 3 years old. He absolutely loved Hazel's animals and her massive garden and the lovely trips out for walks and further a field to the likes of zoo's and sea life centres and even to the cinema and boat trips! From my point of view Hazel was immensely flexible regarding drop-off and collection times and provided wholesome and nutritional meals and snacks throughout the day. I never worried or had any concerns about my son's wellbeing, health and safety in Hazel's care. I would recommend Hazel's childcare service for anyone who prefers a personalised and home setting environment their child.

An excellent child-minder through and through

We have two precious daughters. Hazel has looked after one daughter since she was 13 months and the other from 12 months' old. Hazel is everything that a parent could hope for in a child-minder. We are delighted with how our daughters have developed in all areas under Hazel’s care. We would recommend Hazel’s services without hesitation to anyone.

Professionalism

Hazel is simply excellent at what she does. She carries out her job with professionalism and kindness. She is very well organised and incredibly reliable – even sharing her holiday calendar for the entire year in advance.
Nothing is ever too much for her and she frequently goes the extra mile. This is a blessing for both the parents and the children.

Communication

Hazel maintains a written record of each child’s day and diligently records details of meals, naps, outings and anything else of note. Hazel also takes the time to speak to parents at drop off and collection to ensure that they are always fully informed of their child’s progress.

Child Development

We are delighted with how our daughters have developed in all areas under Hazel’s care. They have both benefited from her decades of experience as a child minder. Hazel follows a curriculum while still remaining attentive to the individual needs of each child.

Activities and Outings

The children complete a wide variety of activities on a daily basis. They walk the dog, play on the equipment in the garden, make crafts, cook and go to local places of interest such as Wisley Gardens, Painshill or Claremont, to name but a few. During the year, Hazel takes the children on special trips such as Sea-Life, Longleat and the Hawk Conservancy. They return inspired and educated.

Meals

Hazel is an excellent cook and the variety of the children’s menu is truly amazing. The food Hazel prepares is nutritious and healthy as are the snacks which the children are given.

Hazel will not disappoint as a child-minder.

Cannot recommend Hazel highly enough!

Hazel is a childminder that does childminding because she loves children, not for the money. This is very apparent in the way she is with my son and how happy he is going there every morning!

Hazel has helped so much with his development, it seems like they are doing different things every day, whether in the house or going on outings. My son has blossomed in her care! His manners are outstanding and I am always being told by friends and strangers alike that he is well behaved, this is mainly thanks to Hazel.

Hazel is extremely flexible and understanding of family needs and has just been amazing to our family over the last few months (with me having number 2). Nothing has been to much for her to do!!

I am sadly having to take my son out of Hazel's care, but am readily available for any feedback you may want further (just ask Hazel for my contact details).

Thank you Hazel for all you have done up until now! We would not have been able to have done it without you!!
