I am married to Dave. I am Ofsted registered quality assured and accredited.We live in the Woolton area L25 on Mackets Lane
We have 5 children between us and 4 grandchildren.
I provide a quality childminding setting for 0-5 years where you can leave your children happy in the knowledge that they will be well cared for in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. I focus on the well being of the children in my care to create a home from home environment. I enjoy numerous arts and craft activities, cooking, and gardening and especially we enjoy growing our own vegetables. I have just converted my garage into a sensory/ messy play room which the children are loving.
We are a non smoking household and pet free.
I provide home cooked healthy meals and snacks. I visit many playgroups so the children can interact with other children of different ages as well as the children that attend my setting.
We have daily trips visiting parks, museums, farms, National trust, Delamere forest, Eureka on the Wirral, beaches etc to extend there learning and life experiences.
On hand over at the end of the day I tell you what we have done, any information needed to give to you. I have an online journal so you can access it daily to see photographs of what they have been doing telling a story of their day, what they have eaten, slept, nappies.
My Experience
In the past I have looked after my mother-in-law for 2 years with dementia so I am of a caring and responsible nature.
I have been a childminder since 17/01/2011 .My grading for ofsted was OUTSTANDING in all areas in September 2024
I have my NVQ level 3 qualification and have good knowledge on the new Early years foundation stage.
I am Quality Assured and accredited and can provide the 2,3 and 4 year nursery education funding if required.
I have also gained NCFE CACHE Level 3 in special educational needs coordinator in Early years settings.
I am mobile with a 7 seater car which is fully insured for business use, mot'd and is fully serviced.
I have suitable car seats for all ages required for the children.
My Qualifications

I have a level 3 safeguarding certificate
I have attended a food hygiene course
I have attended a nutrition course.
Health and Safety level 2
I have my NVQ level 3 in childcare
NVQ level 3 in speech, language and communication
NCFE CACHE Level 3 in special educational needs coordinators in early years setting
I have many more certificates gained to enhance the children's learning
We have all been Crb/ dbs checked
I am quality assured
I am Accredited can provide 2,3,&4 year nursery education funding if required.
My ofsted inspection grade is Outstanding in all areas (September 2024)

Mon - Thurs 8.00- 5
I take 6 weeks holiday per year and I am unavailable for bank holidays

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Fees to be discussed and is based on a day rate but individual needs can be discussed
Payments will be spread over the 12 months
A deposit / retainer
will be required on acceptance of the place depending on when you are wanting to commence and the amount of days you are wanting.This is not refundable if you don't commence with the childcare you wanted but it will be part payment towards your first payment and payments must be in advance.
I take 6 weeks holiday a year
I accept Childcare Vouchers and accept the Care to Learn Payments if you are at college or a university student.

We couldn't believe our luck when we found kim and dave they are brillant. They have made going back to university and leaving by baby alot easier knowing that he is well looked after. It's like leaving him with family. It's great to see how all the kids get on so well and there is always lots of cuddles going round which is brillant to see. He is in his element going out and exploring different places each week whether it's to a music class, farm or to the museum. I love how i can see what he has been upto that day on his online dairy. I honestly can't thank them enough for what they do for Charlie.

Aww Thank you so much.
Charlie is such a beautiful boy and I love seeing him explore his surrounding wherever we are. I love minding him and getting cuddles off him.
Kim and Dave are outstanding in all they do for our wee boy and all the other kiddies. We call Kim Mary Poppins in our house, because she's so nurturing and loving to each and every child in her care! ????
Our wee boy had a terrible time settling into nursery and didn't form any attachment to his carers. So when we met Kim and Dave, his bond with them was quickly formed due to their friendliness and child-centred approach to our son and so welcoming to us.
They really do provided a 'home from home' child minding service and our son just loves them, so much half the time he doesn't want to come home!! Lol ???? The other kids he plays with on a daily basis are so lovely and they're all like a wee family! So lovely to see our son grow up in such a lovely, safe and fun environment.
Nothing's too much for Kim and Dave and they do go away above and beyond the call of duty. We're looking forward to our 2nd wee boy getting to know them too!

Kim and Dave are outstanding childminders and I would highly recommend them. They are so accommodating and nothing is ever too much trouble. You can clearly see how much they enjoy working with children and it so reassuring going to work each day knowing my child is in safe hands.
My child has been attending this setting since january 2014 and absolutely loves it. The environment is excellent as there are different rooms for different activities as well as a large garden with a wide range of activities for the children to do. The childrens groups they attend each day is also a bonus as my child mixes with even more children. Kim also provides a daily diary each day letting us know what Elsie-Mae has being doing which is fantastic.
Would highly recommend.

Kim has looked after my 2 girls for the last 10 months and they have absolutely loved going there. Both Kim and Dave have a great rapport with the kids and tailor activities etc to fit their needs. Kim has been brilliantly reliable and flexible, and done over and above what I would have hoped for and expected in a childminder.

Dave and I have enjoyed caring after your two wonderful girls they have been a joy to be with. I am so glad I have been a part of their development and progress and will miss them very much as they embark on their next stage of school life.
