Nanny | London
Self Employed | April 2016 – September 2016
? I worked with a mother and her three year old daughter. The majority of the work was done over the holidays and was from morning, the time she got up to go to school and or other activities, to night, the time she went to bed. I took sole charge of her every day while her mother worked. This included bathing her, taking her and picking her up from school, taking her to all of her extracurricular activities, cooking for her, feeding her and putting her to bed and whilst the child was at her activities I did all the housework. I also aided in helping the girl develop her English as well as learn to read and write. The young girl and I along with the mother and I developed a very close knitted relationship and she trusted me with everything. The only reason for leaving is due to the commencing of my university studies. The family now works with my younger sister as they were happy with my work and wanted to find someone who they could trust as much as me. Although that us the case the mother of the child still relies on me for some jobs for her such as travelling with the child. The mother works abroad a lot so during the holidays I will be expected to sort travel with the child to the proposed countries.
? For example at the end of May 2017 the child and I travelled together to Los Angeles to meet her mother for a trip. Her mother still worked while we were there so I was expected to organise activities, feed her and get her ready every day. In 2016 during the Christmas holiday we went to New York and Colorado together and the March of 2016 we went to Austria. So as you can see I was and still am very trusted by the family. I'm still in contact with the family so if any references are needed I can provide them.
