About Me
Hi, my name is Michaela. I'm the owner of QC's childminding services. I live with my husband, three boys, dog and cat. I am an OFSTED registered childminder in the Castleford/cutsyke area. Recent ofsted report was graded “good”. Many years experience working with children, including a senior position at a great local private nursery. We live in a large 4 bedroomed house, situated on a very spacious corner plot with a large and secure rear garden, close to many schools, children's centres, parks and soft play centres. At the moment i do pick ups and drop off to and from Ackton Pastures school only and can provide full time or part time care. My setting offers a space where children can develop, grow and learn through play, I offer a home from home. I have set it out with designated areas labelled so your little ones can choose what they want with ease such as sand, water play, reading area, maths area, home corner. I work from the EYFS and as a parent you will receive a daily diary describing what your child has done that day, eaten etc and i will be adding lot's of lovely photo's and observations to your child's files on their time spent in my care. I aim to be a home from home and treat all children as I do my own.
My Experience
My roles over the years are: My most recent position was Senior childcare practitioner and in charge of all 2-3yr old funded children. I have been a lunchtime supervisor, Teaching Assistant, 1-1 Teaching Assistant working with special needs children and special educational needs children. I have worked in outstanding graded schools and have many years experience working with lot's of age ranges. I have 11yrs experience working with children.
My Qualifications
level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification with distinction, paediatric first aid, level 2 food hygiene, awareness of child abuse and neglect, children and young peoples workforce level 2, i am fully DBS checked and so is my partner, food allergy course and many, many more courses attended!

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Please call to arrange a visit and discuss fees. I can now take children that are eligible for the 2yr funding
