I am a qualified Nursery Nurse (NNEB) with 28 years experience of working with children from 6mths to 11 years in various settings and in varying roles.
I am an active, mature person with many life experiences.
I enjoy spending time with my partner, 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren and meeting up with my friends.
My Experience
My experience in childcare has been in a variety of roles in various settings.
I have worked with children aged 6 mths to 11 years, had my own children, and looked after many friends' children.
I have worked as a volunteer for Home-start, Parent Partnership, Welcare, SOSSEN, Merton Mencap, and at a women's refuge.
My experience with children with SEND has been mainly supporting children with ASD, but I have also supported a child with cerebral palsy and, more recently, a child with Downs syndrome and a genetic disorder. I currently support twins who both have additional needs.
I have supported children with English as an additional language, using speech and language programmes from SALT.
In all my roles, I have worked to the EYFS curriculum, taking observations and assessing the development of the children in my care.
I am NOT looking.

Unfortunately I do NOT drive but I am happy to walk or use public transport within a reasonable commute.
