My Experience
I have over 12 years of experience working with children.
-For nearly 10 years, I served as a Montessori teacher at a nursery school in the heart of Crouch End. During this time, I developed my ability to create nurturing and stimulating environments for children aged 2 to 5. I focused on fostering individual growth to empower their confidence and make their learning experiences both fun and productive.
-I have extensive nannying and babysitting experience, caring for children from 6 months to 10 years old. This has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of child development across various age groups and underscored the importance of maintaining strong relationships with parents and families.
- Recently, I had the privilege of supporting my 8-year-old nephew through a challenging period in Colombia. This experience further deepened my empathy and reinforced my belief in the importance of providing compassionate care and guidance to children during their formative years, helping them to transform positively.
-Additionally, I have a background in setting up educational projects in South Africa for vulnerable communities. This role equipped me with valuable leadership and organizational skills. My Qualifications
- I hold a Diploma in Early Years Montessori Education from the Montessori Centre International (MCI) School in London, focusing on children aged 0 to 7. Through this program, I gained a deep understanding of child development and how various developmental areas are interconnected. I had the privilege of learning a beautiful educational method that allows children to develop at their own pace, following their interests and experiencing freedom within limits.
- Additionally, I have an NVQ in Early Years Education from City and Islington College in London. This qualification provided me with comprehensive knowledge in child development, health and safety procedures, child protection, and the fundamental principles of early childhood education.
- I also hold certifications in Pediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Training.
