My Experience

I have been a registered childminder for 10 years and through this I have gained a great deal of experience. I learn something new everyday which is what makes my job so interesting and rewarding. I wanted to pursue a career as a childminder as I love working with children and helping them learn and grow. The children I mind are involved in various extracurricular activities including weekly trips to the library, swimming lessons, football as well as fun days out to Jumping Jacks and the park (weather permitting).

We look forward to the school holidays (and bank holidays) as this is when the fun really begins. Each week I organise a trip to somewhere exciting, these destinations include: Crawfordsburn country park, Newcastle promenade, The Giant's Lair, Bangor seaside, Strangford lough and Delamont. During the wetter days we also attend: W5, Navan Centre, Ulster Folk & Transport Museum, Planetarium and the Aquarium.

I want the children to have a fun, varied and interactive childhood with me which is why we do so many fun activities. All of these days out are at no extra cost to the parents and all the children have a fantastic time on these adventures. We are always on the lookout for new sites to explore and for new learning experiences!

My Availability

I work 7am to 6pm however I am fully flexible Monday to Friday.
