My Requirements
We are looking for someone to care for our 14 year old disabled girl. We need some extra help in the school holidays. Ideally 3 X 2 hours across each week but we could offer more hours if wanted.
Our daughter has a rare chromosome disorder and she attends a special school. She cannot walk or talk and she uses nappies. You would need to sit with her and help her to play with toys, push her in her wheelchair for a walk around the village and feed her snacks. She has a high level of need so needs someone with compassion and patience. Experience with special needs children is preferred, but not essential.
You will need transport as we live just outside York. There is a decent bus service though!
