Hi there!
My name is Lindsey and I'm 35years old. I have been looking after children for the past 20years and don't intend on changing my career anytime soon! I love all things creative, messy, sensory and fun and love to sing and dance.
Currently a sole charge nanny to 5 lovely girls.

My Experience
My Mum has been a Childminder for the past 32years so it was only natural that I followed in her lead as she did her Mum's. I have been babysitting for her families for the past 20 years and often still do. In addition to this I have also worked in a variety of childcare settings where I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge throughout. I began my journey in childcare in a playgroup, and then onto day nurseries as a Nursery Nurse. I then worked as a Deputy Manager of an After School Club and as a Deputy Manager/Acting Manager of a pre-school and an Assistant for a child with Autism and their sibling. I have worked in a Children's Centre as an Early Years Practitioner where i have looked after children of a mixture of ages from the baby room to the pre-school room and previously the After School Club. I have experience running groups for families in the community such as Messy Play, Busy Buddies, Stay and Play and Baby Stay and Play and this is something I have really enjoyed. I am currently a part time Nanny for 3 families! and also a trainee dance teacher.
My Qualifications
I have Early Years and Development in Childcare NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 as well as a short courses throughout my experience such as Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid and Food Catering Level 2, Child Protection and Sign Along Phase 1 to name but a few.
