About Me
My name is Becky and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I got married in sunny Cyprus in June 2013, have a 13 year old son and a 9 year old daughter. I live close to two good primary schools and nurseries, local supermarket, parks and bus routes nearby. I enjoy taking walks, reading, swimming, and days out with our family. I have been childminding for 10 years now. I work from my home, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am until 5pm. I currently do school/nursery drop offs and picks to and from Franche Community Primary. I use the baby's days software which enables parents to access their child’s learning journey, assessment, observations, daily diaries, invoices etc online at their own convenience. I offer a kind, caring, home from home environment for the children in my care. We enjoy many activities, such as painting, outside play, visits to local parks, the library, music, messy play and much more.
My Experience
I have 10 years experience of working with Reception/ Year 1 aged children at a local primary school where I worked as a teaching assistant and later gained my higher level teaching assistant status, so am familiar with the EYFS. I also worked at the breakfast and after school / holiday club based at the school with a range of ages. I feel that being a mummy now myself too has given me great experience in helping with settling in periods, as I returned to work for a short time before gaining my childminding registration, I feel I can relate with parents on how it feels to leave your little ones in those early stages.
My Qualifications
I am first aid trained, refreshed January 2022 and due to be renewed soon.
I hold a valid insurance policy through childcare.co.uk.
BTEC National Diploma in Early Years

My Availability
I work from my home, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am until 5pm.
I am currently full for before, after school and EYFS spaces at the moment but will update my profile as soon as spaces become available.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
£30 for a full day, covering 6 hours or more.
£4 hourly rate, minimum hour for before and after school, and covers anything less than 5 hours if required for child of not school / pre-school age.
Fees include morning / afternoon snack.
