My Summary
About Me
I am a CSSIW registered childminder based in Miskin near Pontyclun. I live with my husband and two children age 12 and 10. I run my business from my home set on a quiet housing estate with a lovely secure little park for the children to play in. I am originally from Cheshire and English is my spoken language. We have been living in South Wales for the past 14 years and we love it.
We have a playroom with a variety of toys and an enclosed back garden with lots of stimulating play equipment which includes a play house, slide, sand and water tray, scooters, prams, rocking horse, play car, easel and other toys and when the weather is very warm our bouncy castle is great fun for the children. I also provide lots of activities such as playdough, painting, crafts, cooking, jewellery making and cutting and sticking etc. Some days will consist of going to the local toddler group or soft play at Cowbridge Leisure Centre and when the weather is fine we visit places like Cosmeston Lakes, Amelia Trust Farm, Hendrewennol Fruit Farm, Warren Mill and St Fagans which is very local.
I offer a warm friendly home from home experience and I follow the Early Years Foundation Phase recording children's development and also complete daily diaries.
My Experience
My experience comes from being a full time mum since I had my first child now age 12 and my second child age 10. I have considered childminding for a long time and when a friend asked me if I could care for her son when she needed to go back to work that was a great start that got my business off the ground and I became a registered childminder January 2014. I have plenty of experience with children from other friends and family too.

I have a full time spaces that will be available from September 2021.
My hours are 8am until 5.30pm Tuesday to Friday.

Tina provides first class childcare and has very high standards. My son has been cared for by Tina for over 18 months and is very happy and developing well due to the variety of activities he is able to take part in and the attention which Tina gives. He is always happy to go there as Tina provides a happy, safe and welcoming environment for children. I would highly recommend!
