My Experience

I have worked in childcare for over 20years and ran my own successful day nursery with my mother, which i sold in 2010. so i feel i have the exsperience and knowledge to care for children. I am very flexible with hours and dont mind trvelling for the right position. Since registering on this site I have been a nanny for a little girl who was 3 months when I started and then with her brother I was with this family for 5 yrs and still see the children in the holidays,this position was sole charge. I have also looked after 2 children before and after Pre school sometimes till 10 o'clock if mums was away and been a temporary nanny to a 7 week old baby boy and his sister while mum was setting up her own business I then relocated to Suffolk/ Cambs border from clavering in Essex.

I have now lived in long melford for 5yrs and along side my other position, also worked for a local vet caring for her 2 little boys now age 4 months and 18months 1 day a week. They have now relocated to Dorset. I am happy to travel to south cambridge as my youngest daughter goes to school at Linton village collage so will be happy to work around that area although do not mind commuting a distance of around 10miles. I would like to offer a family some help during school hours preferably, but this has some flexibility, I have also decided to pursue a future in fostering. I am happy to help on an ad-hoc basis also.

I care for 3 children girl approaching 10yrs, boy 6yrs and boy 15 months. I take care of children 3 days a week, school drop off for older children then take youngest to local groups during the day and take care of his general needs. Then school pick up, after school activities or arrange play dates for older two and provide meals, general tidying of their bedrooms and play areas, manage children's laundry and provide a loving, caring time for the children whilst they are in my care.

As the children are now 13, 11 and 5yrs. The youngest has now started full time school, I feel it’s time to think about something new. I am also just about to go to panel as a foster carer.

I have been fostering 3 little boys 5yrs, 3yrs now 4yrs and 1yr now 2yrs. We have introduced them into our family life cared for every aspect of these little boys lives since they arrived with us and am very proud of the well balanced children they are now becoming. I Introduced a healthy diet, sleep routine and settled them into school/nursery and have given them the confidence to give up their soothers that were a big part of their lives.

The boys are now awaiting to meet their new forever families. So I am now looking for a new position, whether it be a new career, more foster children or nanny position.

My Availability

My Fees

• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour

I am looking for between 12 and 15 pound per hour dependant on resposability and if a permenant or temporary position
