About Me
i run a very homely busy setting it’s set up like a mini nursery, with lots of opportunity’s and space for children to reach their own goals in which to learn and thrive and prepared to go into school . I love my job and go over and above to ensure every child matters and is happy , feels loved ,safe and secure.
My Experience
I have two children of my own now adults Amy 34and James 29 so plenty of years of experience being a parent , I’ve been childminding since 2005.
My daughter works full time with me we are a great team and the children love coming to us as much as we love having the children. We are registered outstanding with ofsted last inspection was feb 2021 graded outstanding. My husband Ian is also registered as an assistant if needed , holds current first aid certification, and level 2 safeguarding , dbs checked .
We have done lots of courses over the years and continue to keep up to date with local council network meetings and our legal requirements. Level 3 safeguarding . Amy level 2 . First aid .
My Qualifications
Level 3 safeguarding
First aid , food hygiene, ofsted outstanding, many, many other courses held , Amy is in her last yr doing a degree in psychology specifically child psychology, I’m currently on an 8 month course with the DFE in education for the 2-4yr olds post covid .
My Availability
At present no vacancy’s due to a waiting list for this yr unlikely to have spaces until August 25 .
