About Me

We are looking for someone part time to help with our 2 children, age 11 and 14, on Wednesday 3:30-10, Thursdays 6:15-8.
A bit about us: we are a warm, friendly, relaxed family who like being outdoors and enjoying time together.
Our children are educated at home. We are a very creative family, we spend a lot of time playing outside, making things, meeting friends, going to home education groups, going to events or restaurants.
My Requirements
We can be flexible with exact timings (ideally both days is better but please contact us for either the Wednesday or Thursday): Wednesday afternoon/evening, Thurs evening, ad hoc babysitting when convenient.
Two children age 11 and 14, both gentle, caring and very creative. We home educate and our children are still very innocent and creative, not at all the stereotype of this age group, they still love playing and making things all the time. Most importantly we are looking for a kind and creative person, someone warm and responsible.
We need help with:
• Wednesday afternoon and evening - both children have quite a lot of online tutoring in the afternoon, with breaks in between. We need somebody to help set them up and make the sure they are in their zoom appointments on time, prepare dinner and be there in their free time. They get on very well together playing and also like to play board games, card games with you. They are very jolly and chatty. Also someone to help guide them to get ready for bed.
• Thursday evening - my son needs picking up from choir, staying with him while he has a play with his friends for about half an hour and then bringing him home.
• Finally, ad hoc babysitting when my husband and I want to go out would be great, we can be flexible.
Some simple cooking is required, nothing complicated. One of my children is vegetarian, the other pescatarian.
