About Me
l am a registered childminder with three children aged ,17,19,21 l provide a safe and secure environment and l enjoy outdoor activities and taking children out on adventures when weather permitting we go to several childminding playgroups and enjoy doing arts and crafts. we go on outings to Dalkeith Country Park, Blair drummond Safari Park and plenty of walks up at the Pentland hills for picnics and also when weather is poor we go to soft play. l always encourage children to ask questions and hopefully answer then but making sure children are listened to whether its to see what activity they would like to do or what they would like to have for there lunch or even if they would just like to chill
My Experience
registered childminder for the last 13years l have done a 2and half year course svq level3 promote childrens developments, also have first aid, child protection, manual handling, epilepsy awareness, food hygiene and several more certificates also have a higher in HIV, hepatitis b and hepatitas c just finished a higher in facilitating playwork opportunities and additional support needs. Having my own three children and enjoying there age stage of developments is a challenge but an enjoyable one and would like to encourage this in my childminded children

Melanie is the most supportive and caring childminder I have met. My son loves going with her and has developed a good bond. Its very clear that the children she looks after are all treated as individuals and I would always recommend her.
