About Me

I am offering a Maternity nursing service to support new mothers and their newborn babies on a one to one basis. I have had Twenty wonderful years of child care experience, and I provide a service caring for children up to the age of 16.

I have many fundamental qualities that are needed to be a Maternity Nurse I am consciences, reliable, punctual, honest, and trustworthy and I have excellent communication skills. I always exercise professionalism and have tact and a courteous manor to interact with individuals. I am committed to ensuring that women, children and their families receive the care and support required to promote optimum outcomes and positive experiences.

As an experienced Maternity Nurse I work within the families home providing holistic women centred care to meet the whole family’s needs. By providing care in those first few testing weeks I allow you to rest knowing your baby is in safe hands whether it’s providing twenty four hour care, night support or during the day. I instil confidence in new mothers to successfully care for their new bundle of joy and remain in the home until the mother is satisfied that she is happy to continue with out the in home support and guidance. I am able to give professional advice on breastfeeding, sleep and routine, formula feeding, colic, reflux, special care for premature babies, multiples, newborn care, and new mum care. The duties I can take on include; preparing the house before the baby arrives, antenatal breastfeeding education in preparation, baby laundry, night feeds, maintaining and cleaning the nursery, feeding and sleeping advice, going with parent’s on the baby’s first outing, running errands, dog walking, and providing around the clock care
