My Experience

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• The Purple Elephant Project (2022 - present) - MA Play therapist

• The Trauma Recovery Centre (2017 - 2018) - A charity that supports children and families in their recovery from trauma. I am working as a support worker as well as one-on-one with some children.

• The Village Education Centre (2011-2013) – A centre in Thailand for children with a range of different learning disabilities. I worked as a carer and assistant teacher for children ranging between the ages of 5 and 15.

• The Camillian Home (2012-2014) – A centre in Thailand for children (1-7 years old) with severe mental/physical disabilities. I worked as a caretaker, feeding, showering and playing with the children.

• Working along side a foster parent with several different children (although not at the same time). These included a 13 year old, a 17 year old with special needs and a new born (since 4 days old).

• Nanny for child from 5 months for a year

• Looking after a 6 month old baby

• Looking after 3 Siblings (Aged: 7, 9, 12) picking them up from school, taking them home, playing with them and making them dinner.

• Looking after 2 Siblings (Aged: 1 and 3) playing with them during the day, providing lunch, time out of the house, taking to activities whilst parents worked.
