Amazing childminder - my daughter is so happy

My daughter is now 2 and has been going to Shamsun’s since she was 9 months old. I am a first time mum and was extremely anxious, but from the moment I met Shamsun she and her husband put me at ease. She absolutely loves children and this shines through every day and in every interaction. All the children are so happy.

Almost everyone I know sent their children to a nursery, perhaps not knowing much about childminders. The thought of sending my child into a huge room of babies with lots of adults just seemed really wrong to me and I love that my daughter is in a warm, family home environment. I think early attachments are absolutely vital, and at a childminder like Shamsun you are guaranteed that they are having the same care every day and not lots of turnover with keyworkers like you can get in nurseries. This was especially important to me given I was struggling with anxiety and depression and I wanted to ensure my daughter was getting a secure loving environment to help her development.

Shamsun’s home is immaculately clean. There’s loads of space to play, a huge garden, and it is not on a main road like many nurseries, which is a huge plus given the pollution in London.

I love that Shamsun takes the children out on trips a lot, to the park, the farm etc but they also do lots of fun activities like painting and baking. They have a lovely time. Erin loves her friends and talks about them. I really like that there is a mix of ages as I think it helps them learn different skills from each other, and my daughter is extremely kind and caring as a result of this I think.

I recommended Shamsun to another friend, and her daughter now goes too and she is also really happy. This friend worked in a nursery previously, so I think this says a lot!

Shamsun tries really hard to be flexible and to help you with extra days if you need them which is such a help if work changes or you are just exhausted, I really appreciate that.

I honestly cannot recommend Shamsun enough, she and her husband are loving, caring, happy people that really enjoy the work they do. I met a number of other childminders that, although meeting ofsted targets, seemed to want to cram in as many kids as possible to maximise profits. Shamsun’s is much more relaxed and there are less children, and this creates a much calmer and more homely environment.

best childminder

Best childminder !
My daughter started when she was 6months, and has been there for just over 2months now, Shamsun and her husband look after my daughter as if she were their own, I was abit sceptical at first as I hadn’t left my daughter with anyone else other than family, but they both put me at ease, definitely recommend for your bubbas!

Flexiable, Reliable, honest

My Son has been with Shamsun for over a year now. He was two when he jointed after taking me out of nursery and this has been the best decision I have made and have no regrets. When my Son joined he was struggling with his speech & potty training. Couple of months later he improved drastically. Shamsun has been a star from day one, she is always flexible which is super key when you are a workings parent. I love the social interaction she has with the kids e.g constant trips to park, farm, library etc, Every month she does a different curriculum with the kids to help with there development. Her home setting is amazing as she has everything available for the kids at the comfort of her home and most importantly the place is clean and my son is always exciting to go 'Anuty Shams'. I would highly recommend this place especially if your looking for someone where you child be cared for, learn and develop. Shamsun has now become family and I'm so happy and blessed to of found a great place for my son.

Highly recommended childminder

Shamsun has been looking after my children for the last 7 years she has been a fantastic Childminder and my children love going there. She is very professional does everything by the book, her house is warm and welcoming and set out like a nursery which I found to be very impressive. She is very reliable and flexible, she takes them to libraries, play centres, parks and the farms. Shamsun is very easy to talk to and communicates very well with me. She takes lots of pictures and send me so I know what my children have been doing throughout the year. I would highly recommend Shamsun.

Highly recommended childminder

My child has been in Shamsun's full-time care from the age of 10 months to nearly three years and during this time has grown into a happy and confident little girl. Shamsun has played a huge part in her development in that she has given my child guidence in manners, play, sharing and of course her loving care. I cannot stress enough how I would not hesitate to recommend Shamsun Nahar as a childminder and have found her to be extremely competent, conscientious and trustworthy. I would have 100% confidence that she would be able to offer any child in her care everything that is required and more.
She has a wide breadth of experience in looking after children and always made me feel confident in her ability to look after and care for my daughter.Shamsun is excellent at planning activities for the children, with daily activities such as playgroups and crafts. She also takes the children on a wide range of activities and visits throughout the holidays. Shamsun bonded extremely well with my daughter. She was always happy to be dropped off in the morning and is flexible.Also provide nutritional meals. I highly recommended childminder Shamsun Nahar.

Excellent childminder!

Both of my girls love going Shamsums and they look forward to it. I have been using Shamsum for long time now. She is fixable and reliable. She alway got smile go her face and is welcoming. She has provide a safe, clean and playful environment for children under her care.

Shamsun takes girls out to activity centres, farms, social parks and libraries. My girls do recommend Shamsun to their friends.

Good! She is flexible, caring and very reliably

Shamsun is a exellent affordable childmider. My daughter has been with her for 4 years now, and I am happy because she is not doing a job she cares very much for the children she looks after and bonds well with them. She provides a safe, clean and playful environment for the children in her care along with structured rountine and healthy homemade halal food. Shamsum teaches the children through a variety of activities in a spacious play area that she speically made for them. I would highly recommend her.
