My Summary
About Me
Hello everyone!
My name is Beata and I am a 45-year-old woman who has a great experience in working with children. I am a warm, happy, very friendly and enthusiastic person with lots of understanding, patience and empathy. As a childcare provider (as I have experienced working as a qualified teacher, a sole charge nanny and a qualified nursery practitioner) I have an understanding of child development and learning, have lots of energy, patience, sense of responsibility, compassion and what is important to me - solid communication skills (as I am not a native speaking person). I always try to be flexible, am reliable, respectful, trustworthy, organized active and creative with a can-do attitude, which is very important to me.
My Experience
I used to be a qualified art and literature teacher in my country (Masters Degree) and also have been working as a nanny and a qualified (level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce) nursery practitioner for nearly 10 years in UK. When I first came to London in 2005 I gained my first nanny job in Wimbledon Village, looking after two school boys aged 6 and 8. That was a part time position as I attended collage in the mornings. After that I was working as a full time nanny with 3 children aged one, six and eight. I stayed with the family for 3 years. That was a sole charge position including nights as both parents did a lot of travelling from work. As I really wished to gain childcare qualifications I applied for a nursery job in Mortlake and actually succeeded. I started working in a baby room and then in a combined baby and toddler room gaining my childcare qualifications. I also experienced working in pre school for two and a half year. While working in all sorts of rooms in nurseries I learned and improved myself as a key person and had a strong bond with the children not only doing all my nursery duties but going beyond and trying to teach children about all aspects of world through play and fun. I also was the one responsible for doing pre school planning.
