I am a happy, bubbly and reliable individual who finds caring for young children an extremely satisfying job!
I am very passionate about working with children and have a very good knowledge of the EYFS which I would love to bring into the home environment. I enjoy providing fun indoor and outdoor activities for the children to take part in - making it fun is the best way to learn! I enjoy getting messy and involved in children's play - scaffolding their learning.
My Experience
2016 - current. Full time nanny to two school aged children. Duties have included but aren’t limited to; school pick ups, assisting with homework, cooking balanced meals for the children, planning play dates, sorting uniform and bags for school days, Tidying playroom, doing children’s washing and changing their beds, Planning fun indoor and outdoor activities in the holidays. I’ve also organised parties and sorted party bags etc.
2013 - 2016 I worked full time at a day nursery which I thoroughly enjoyed and gained all my qualifications along the way. Towards the end of my time there I was room leader in a busy toddler room managing staff and working with children aged between 18 months to 5 years.
My Qualifications
I currently hold a level 3 qualification in childcare in the early years practitioner.
I am paediatric first aid trained.
Safeguarding trained.
Epi pen trained
Also have an up to date enhanced DBS
My Availability
Looking for a part time nanny position 2-4 days a week that I can also bring my little boy (8m old) along with me some of the time.
Would be open to this only being in term time.
