My Summary
About Me
What do you think of when you someone says maternity nurse?
Caring, organised, empathetic, baby whisperer....
Maternity nurses provide a range of services and tailor their approach to meet the individual needs of the clients. We educate our clients about topics such as new born care, feeding and safe sleep practices to name a few. We facilitate this education to enable our clients to build the confidence to work independently and need us a little less each time. We can provide advice on how to avoid overspending on essential items and make the most of products given to us by others. Maternity support is for everyone and we work with a range of families from many different backgrounds.
By chance six years ago I became a maternity nurse and was given the opportunity to work with a beautiful newborn girl. By this time I had two children of my own and found skills as a nanny and knowledge as a mother married perfectly.
Fast forward to 2024 I have helped 30+ families and this year I want to be an epic year as my last as a maternity nurse despite the pandemic. I am now also a fully qualified Midwife working in a hospital.
My personality can be described as organised, bubbly, caring and chatty. My ethos is that family are important and you should always do something kind without expecting anything in return.
In my day to day life I enjoy outdoor activities such as Hockey, Clay Pidgeon shooting, and Horse riding. My indoor activities include reading, swimming and going to the gym.
Live a relatively healthy lifestyle and eat well.
